Two Friends, One Very Stable Base

Frank Aben and Henk de Haan met in Den Bosch, in the Netherlands. Frank had spent his career engineering and building steel products. Henk had spent more than twenty years in sales and marketing for fast-growing international technology companies. Mobile masts were new, the market was open, and between them they covered both halves of the problem.

The first tower came out of a customer question rather than a product plan. That customer, who became the launch partner, wanted a well-engineered base built for rapid deployment and left standing for months. Sketching, prototyping and testing followed. What came out of it is the platform TelescopicMast still builds today: a very stable base, a twenty-foot telescopic mast for cameras, and a lockable box for batteries and patch panels.

Construction sites are still the largest application, where towers protect plant equipment, monitor access and cut theft and vandalism through every project phase. Beyond that, military teams, fire services, event organisers, utility companies, waste management operators and the people guarding off grid infrastructure all run the same base.
