The platform arrives without the electronics. No cameras, no analytics and no monitoring contract, so the camera, the recorder and the alarm receiving center stay your decision. What does come with it is the part that has to survive the site: a telescopic mast on a 100 percent galvanized steel base, CE certified by TUV Rheinland behind a 95 page test and measurement document, produced under an ISO 9001 quality system and ANSI certified as well. That enclosure outlasts the equipment on it by a factor of two to three, so the same platform carries two or three generations of camera technology. Buying the platform rather than a pre-built tower also saves in the region of 15 to 20 percent.

Under 15 minutes, by one engineer. Position the unit, extend the four feet, level it on the integrated spirit level and wind the mast up on the CE certified winch with its double brake system. No foundation, no grid connection, no crane and no specialist crew. What those 15 minutes do not cover is commissioning whatever you have chosen to put on the mast, so configure the cameras and the router in your own yard and the site visit really is a quarter of an hour.

Mains power where the site already has it, and three off-grid routes where it does not: batteries, solar, and hydrogen or methanol fuel cells. The MSB-Edge carries 660 W of solar on three 220 W panels, and fuel cells cover the dark months when solar alone will not. Sizing it is arithmetic rather than opinion: the load of your equipment, the hours you need it running, and the worst month of the year. The power equipment itself comes from Technology Partners such as SFC Energy and is specified to your requirement, not supplied inside the platform.
