Mobile Tower Platforms for
Government & Public Safety

A demonstration announced on Thursday. A flood on Sunday. A summit next month. Public safety rarely waits for groundwork, permits or a grid connection. A Mobile Tower Platform puts cameras, lighting and connectivity six metres up, operational within 15 minutes, and moves again the moment the risk picture changes.

Operational in 15 minutes

Two people, no civil works, no grid connection

Redeployable, not fixed

Move the position when the incident moves

CE by TUV Rheinland

95 pages of test documentation for procurement

Brand neutral mast top

60 kg for the cameras your force already runs

Public Safety Rarely Gives You Notice

A march route is published four days out. A river rises overnight. A vacant barracks becomes a target the week after the last unit leaves. The risk arrives before the infrastructure does.

Fixed CCTV columns answer a different question. Groundwork, power, permits and a procurement cycle stand between the decision and the first image, and once the column is in the ground the risk has often moved two streets over.

What public safety work needs is height, power and a data link that arrive on a flatbed, stand up in 15 minutes, and leave again when the operation ends.

Common applications:

  • Crowd management at events and demonstrations
  • Redeployable CCTV in public space hotspots
  • Perimeter watch on military sites and depots
  • Disaster response and temporary command posts

Own the Platform, Choose the Technology

Public bodies buy assets that have to last past the incident that justified them. A Mobile Tower Platform is galvanised steel, a three part mast and a lockable cabinet, with a two year warranty and CE certification by TUV Rheinland, ISO 9001 and ANSI documentation ready for the tender file.

What goes on top stays your decision. The mast top is a four spoke plate carrying 60 kg, with double cabling inside the mast, so the cameras, thermal units, radar, ANPR readers and antennas already approved by your force bolt straight on.

TelescopicMast builds the foundation. Technology Partners including Axis, Scylla, Teltonika, Milestone and SFC Energy build what runs on it.

Where it earns its place:

  • Town centres and the night time economy
  • Border crossings and temporary checkpoints
  • Private 5G and LTE for a mobile command post
  • Flood, wildfire and storm response

Applications in Government & Public Safety

Eight ways police forces, municipalities, defence organisations and emergency services put a Mobile Tower Platform to work.

Crowd Management & Public Monitoring

Overhead sightlines across a square, a fan zone or a march route give commanders live information instead of radio guesswork.

Redeployable CCTV in Public Space

Cover a problem street for six weeks, then move to the next one. No trenching, no permanent column, no planning application.

Rapid Deployment & Incident Response

Floods, wildfires and major incidents need eyes up within the hour. Two people, 15 minutes, mast at full height.

Military Sites & Defence Infrastructure

Perimeter watch on depots, training areas and vacant military sites, with thermal imaging and radar mounted at the mast top.

Border & Checkpoint Observation

Temporary observation points at crossings and checkpoints, relocated as traffic patterns and pressure shift.

Vehicle Recognition & Access Logging

ANPR at height reads plates across a wider approach, logging movements in and out of a controlled area automatically.

Off-Grid Power for Long Deployments

Room for batteries or fuel cells inside the cabinet, and three 220 W solar panels on the MSB-Edge, for positions with no mains supply.

Temporary Connectivity via 4G, 5G and LTE

The mast that carries the cameras carries the uplink, feeding a control room or a field command post over cellular.

Built for Public Deployment

Six Metres Up, In Minutes

The MSB6 platforms carry a three part galvanised mast to six metres with an automatic safety stop at full extension. The MSB-Premium XL reaches nine metres on a five part mast.

Stable Enough for Public Space

A mast standing in a square with people around it has to hold. Four extendable stabilisers, a chassis level and four stainless steel 316 guy cables keep the position under load.

Certification for the Tender File

Procurement asks for paperwork before it asks for pictures. CE certification by TUV Rheinland backed by a 95 page test document, ISO 9001, ANSI and a two year warranty come with the platform and can be handed over as part of a bid.

Brand Neutral by Design

The mast top is a four spoke plate, not a proprietary bracket. Cameras, floodlights, thermal units, radar, ANPR and antennas from the brands your force already approved mount directly.

Deployed in Public Space

Police forces, city operations centres and event security teams have run these platforms at national scale events across Europe.

Mobile video surveillance across Cologne during UEFA EURO 2024

Nexonik GmbH | Cologne, Germany

Hundreds of thousands of visitors moved through Cologne during the tournament. Nexonik combined fixed units, mobile towers and live monitoring so the city operations centre kept sight of fan zones and outer perimeters as they changed from day to day.

Where Public Safety Teams Deploy It

Five environments where a Mobile Tower Platform replaces infrastructure that does not exist yet.

Town Centres
Town Centres & Public Space

Town Centres & Public Space

Cover a hotspot street or square for as long as the problem lasts, then redeploy. Visible height deters, and the recording holds up as evidence.

Events & Demonstrations

Events & Demonstrations

Crowd management across fan zones, march routes and temporary venues. Live overhead views feed the command post as the crowd moves.

Military & Defence

Military Sites & Depots

Perimeter watch on active bases, training areas and vacant military sites. Thermal and radar at the mast top, no permanent build.

Disaster Response

Disaster Response

Floods, wildfires and storms take out the infrastructure you were relying on. A platform arrives on a trailer and runs off-grid.

Borders & Checkpoints
Border control

Borders & Checkpoints

Observation at crossings and temporary checkpoints, with ANPR and cellular uplink on the same mast as the cameras.

Common Questions from Public Safety Buyers

Deployment, certification, integration and power. What police forces, municipalities, defence organisations and emergency services ask before a first order.

Two people bring a platform from transport to full mast height in about 15 minutes. No civil works, no grid connection and no specialist crew. Positioning and stabilising take the time, not the mast itself.

Yes. Forklift slots on four sides and lifting eyes let you move a platform between positions, and the TMT trailers tow it behind a vehicle. The MSB-Roadbox stays on its TMT-750 minitrailer at 365 kg total, which keeps the combination inside a category B licence.

The mast top is a four spoke plate carrying 60 kg, with double cabling inside the mast and an IP66 patch box in the cabinet. ONVIF cameras, thermal units, radar, ANPR readers and antennas mount directly. Axis, Scylla, Milestone and Teltonika equipment is running on these platforms today. What the platform does not include is the cameras, the analytics or the monitoring contract, and those stay with your integrator and your control room.

CE certification by TUV Rheinland backed by a 95 page test and measurement document, plus ISO 9001, ANSI certification and a two year warranty. The documentation can go straight into a tender file, which matters when a bid is scored on compliance before it is scored on price.

Four extendable stabilisers, a chassis level and four stainless steel 316 guy cables hold the mast in position. The MSB6-Basic is stable to 85 km/h at full height. Everything is galvanised steel, with anti-climb protection and vandal-resistant cable ducts on the Premium models.

The cabinet has room for batteries or fuel cells. The MSB-Edge carries three 220 W solar panels with a mast to 501 cm for positions that stay put for weeks, and SFC Energy fuel cells extend a deployment where sunlight alone is not enough.
