Construction Security Systems
for Sites That Keep Moving

A construction site moves as the build progresses, and a fixed camera stays where it was installed. A Mobile Tower Platform is deployed in 15 minutes without power, fiber or groundwork, and is repositioned by the site team as the compound and the work front move across the plot.

Most site theft happens outside working hours

Sites stand empty from Friday evening to Monday morning. Heavy equipment, hand tools, cable drums, copper and fuel are taken in that window, and the loss is rarely limited to the replacement cost: it adds program delay, a claim, and questions from the insurer about the surveillance that was in place.

The difficulty is timing. Risk is highest in the first weeks, when there is no power on site, no fiber, no site fencing and no permanent camera position to build from. By the time fixed infrastructure can be installed, the compound has already moved.

A live site needs a security position that arrives on a flatbed, stands on compacted fill, runs on its own power and is repositioned by the site team when the program changes.

Common applications:

  • Plant and tool theft prevention
  • Copper and cable theft on infrastructure works
  • Progress monitoring and time lapse records
  • Site lighting for short winter days

One platform, every camera brand, every tender

Principals and framework contracts ask for documentation before they ask for pictures. CE certification by TUV Rheinland backed by a 95 page test document, ISO 9001, ANSI and a two year warranty come with the platform, which keeps the technical justification in a bid short.

Installation is plug and play. No welding, no on-site fabrication, no rooftop work and no adjustment before the first camera goes on. The mast top is a four spoke plate carrying 130 lbs with double cabling inside the mast, so whatever your integrator already installs bolts straight on.

TelescopicMast builds the foundation. Technology Partners including Axis, Scylla, Teltonika, Milestone and SFC Energy build what runs on it.

Where it earns its place:

  • Highways, roadworks and diversions
  • Rail works, depots and level crossings
  • Data center and energy construction
  • Vacant plots between build phases

Applications in Construction & Infrastructure

Eight ways contractors, site-work contractors and their integrators put a Mobile Tower Platform to work on a live site.

Equipment and Tool Theft Prevention

Excavators, dumpers, generators and hand tools sit unattended every weekend. Visible height, floodlighting and recorded footage change the risk calculation before anything is taken.

Perimeter Watch on an Open Site

Site fencing covers the street frontage. The back boundary, the haul road and the material compound usually do not have one, which is where entry happens.

Copper & Cable Theft on Infrastructure Works

Cable drums and copper on rail, highway and substation works are a target with a resale market. Thermal detection at height sees an approach across open ground at night.

Progress Monitoring & Time Lapse

A camera 20 feet up records the build week by week, which shortens progress meetings and settles handover discussions with the client.

Workforce Safety & PPE Oversight

An overhead view of an active area shows PPE compliance, exclusion zones and vehicle movements that a ground level camera cannot cover.

Site Lighting for Short Winter Days

Floodlights on the same mast as the cameras keep an area workable after dark, without a separate lighting tower and a second fuel bill.

Insurance Evidence & Claim Defense

Recorded footage held off site supports a claim, defends against a liability allegation and answers underwriting questions about what was in place.

Temporary Connectivity and Site Wi-Fi

4G, 5G and LTE equipment shares the mast with the cameras, which brings a connection to a compound that has no line in yet.

Built for a Live Site

Twenty Feet Over the Site Fence

A three part galvanized mast to 20 feet with an automatic safety stop at full extension, and 130 lbs of payload at the top. The MSB-Premium XL adds 10 feet on a five part mast where the site needs to be seen over stacked material.

Stands Up on Compacted Fill

A construction site is not a parking lot. Four extendable stabilizers, a chassis level and four stainless steel 316 guy cables hold the mast plumb on fill, crushed stone and temporary surfacing.

Moves Without a Crane

The site telehandler is already there. Forklift slots on four sides and lifting eyes mean the platform moves position in minutes, and the TMT trailers tow it between sites behind a vehicle.

Certification the Principal Asks For

Documentation goes into the bid or the site file without a chase. CE certification by TUV Rheinland backed by a 95 page test document, ISO 9001, ANSI, a two year warranty, and four sides of neutral housing for your own site branding.

Proven on Live Sites

Contractors and the security firms working for them run these platforms on building sites, civil works and infrastructure projects in North America and Europe.

Where Contractors Deploy It

Five environments where a Mobile Tower Platform covers a site that has no permanent infrastructure yet.

Building Sites
Building site - MSB premium

Building Sites

Cover the compound, the material store and the back boundary from week one, then reposition as the build works its way across the plot.

Highways
Rail & road - premium - UK

Highways & Roadworks

Traffic management layouts, diversions and lane closures change weekly. A platform on a trailer follows the works and keeps the site under watch after the crews leave.

Rail & Depots
Road Construction - Compact (1)

Rail Works & Depots

Cable, copper and equipment on rail works and depots are a standing target. Thermal detection at height picks up an approach across open ground.

Energy & Data
Premium XL - Energy - UK

Energy & Data Center Construction

Long build programs on high value sites, often on land with no grid connection yet. Solar and fuel cell power keep a position live for weeks.

Vacant Property
Vacant plot - premium - uk

Vacant properties between phases

A cleared property waiting for the next phase attracts illegal dumping, squatting and arson. A platform holds the ground until work restarts.

Common Questions from Site and Project Managers

Power, repositioning, stability, integration and paperwork. What contractors and site-work contractors ask before a platform goes on a live site.

Yes. The cabinet has room for batteries or fuel cells, and the MSB-Edge carries three 220 W solar panels with a mast to 16 ft for a position that stays put. Once the site supply is in, the same platform runs on utility power.

Forklift slots on four sides and lifting eyes let the site telehandler reposition a platform in minutes. Between sites the TMT trailers tow it behind a vehicle, and the MSB-Roadbox stays on its TMT-750 minitrailer at 805 lbs total, within the towing limits of a standard driver’s license.

Four extendable stabilizers, a chassis level and four stainless steel 316 guy cables hold the mast plumb on fill and temporary surfacing. The MSB6-Basic is stable to 53 mph at full height.

The mast top is a four spoke plate carrying 130 lbs, with double cabling inside the mast and an IP66 patch box in the cabinet. ONVIF cameras, thermal units, floodlights, LPR and antennas mount directly, so nobody has to change camera brand to suit the mast. What does not come with it is the cameras, the analytics or the monitoring contract, and those stay with your integrator.

CE certification by TUV Rheinland backed by a 95 page test and measurement document, plus ISO 9001, ANSI certification and a two year warranty. That covers the technical justification in a tender and the questions an underwriter asks about what surveillance was in place on site.

Floodlights mount on the same mast top as the cameras, within the 130 lbs payload. One platform then lights a working area and records it, instead of a lighting tower and a camera position being rented and fueled separately.
