What is a Mobile Tower Platform?

Most mobile surveillance towers are sold as one object: mast, cabinet, cameras and monitoring contract from a single supplier. Convenient on day one. Limiting in year three, when the cameras are outdated and the tower is not.

A Mobile Tower Platform separates the two. TelescopicMast supplies the physical part only: a 100% galvanized steel cabinet, a telescopic mast, a CE certified winch, pre-fitted mounting points and cable routing. No cameras, no sensors, no electronics. Those come from your Technology Partners and your installer, chosen for the site in front of you.

The base outlasts two or three generations of camera technology. Swap the electronics, keep the platform, and configure every deployment for that one site, application and environment.

Built for Demanding Sites

Telescopic mast to 30 feet

Galvanized mast sections from 13 feet on the MSB-Compact to 30 feet on the MSB-Premium XL, raised by one person with a CE certified winch. 130 lbs of payload at the top, pre-fitted with a dual bracket.

100% galvanized steel

Hot-dip galvanized steel throughout, built for a service life of 10 years or more. Heavy enough that it is almost impossible to push over, stable enough to keep cameras still in wind.

Vandal and climb resistant

Two full-size doors with independent locks, lockable top covers on the Basic Plus and Premium models, anti-climb design and anti-vandal spikes at the mast top. At 20 feet, the cameras are out of reach.

Certified and documented

CE certified by TÜV Rheinland, with a 95-page test report behind it. Produced under ISO 9001 and certified to ANSI for North America. The paperwork your bid package asks for, ready to attach.

Common questions about mobile surveillance towers

Height, power, certification, what you can mount on it and how a platform differs from a trailer unit. The answers project managers ask for before the quote goes out.

A mobile surveillance tower, also called a mobile security tower or mobile CCTV tower, raises cameras, lighting and sensors on a telescopic mast, usually to 13 feet or more, so one position covers a whole site without fixed infrastructure. That makes it the standard choice for temporary CCTV on construction sites, at events and on remote locations. A Mobile Tower Platform from TelescopicMast is that tower without the electronics: the galvanized steel base, the mast, the winch and the mounting points. Cameras, power and connectivity are added by your installer, from the Technology Partners you choose.

Between 13 and 30 feet, depending on the model. The MSB-Compact reaches 13 feet, the MSB-Edge 16 feet, the MSB6 models 20 feet and the MSB-Premium XL 30 feet. Every mast top carries up to 130 lbs. Twenty feet is the most common height: wide field of view, and out of reach from the ground.

Yes. The lockable cabinet has room for batteries, charge controllers and fuel cells, and the MSB-Edge carries three 220 W solar panels as standard. With a fuel cell from a partner such as SFC Energy, a platform runs for weeks on a site with no utility power.

One person, under 15 minutes. Position the unit by forklift or trailer, level it on the four extendable stabilizers, winch the mast to full height and tension the steel cables. No groundwork, no grid connection, no second visit.

Any. The platform is brand neutral: the pre-fitted dual bracket at the mast top takes any camera or floodlight up to 130 lbs, and the cabinet holds any router, recorder or power system that fits. Installers combine it with equipment from Technology Partners such as Axis, Scylla, Teltonika, Milestone and SFC Energy. Equipment shown in the images is not included.

Every platform is CE certified by TÜV Rheinland, backed by a 95-page test report, and produced under an ISO 9001 quality management system. The range also meets ANSI standards for North America. Certificates and drawings are in the brochure.

A trailer unit is one object: wheels, mast, cameras and often a generator, with plates, registration and insurance per unit. A mast platform is a compact steel base with no wheels or tires to steal or deflate, moved by forklift or on a shared trailer, up to 20 per truck. Greater height, fewer units per site, and the freedom to choose your own technology.
